After purchase, you will be sent a package which contains files and instructions on how to get your calendar up and running as quickly as possible.
The calendar is installed on your own webspace and will work for you at a one-off cost for years and years to come, showing availability and prices, and taking email booking enquiries.

1. After Downloading your calendar software to your computer ...

You need to make a couple of changes to the main configuration file for the calendar. There are comprehensive help documents to get you through doing this. You then need to transfer the files from your computer over to your webspace. To do this you will need an FTP client program. We recommend CuteFTP or WS-FTP or Fetch (on macs)
(Approx. 50% of our clients ask us to install their calendar for them)

2.You need to run the setup script which creates the database files. Then you are ready to go...

The Default setup calendar has our standard setting and will function perfectly and look great for most users.

3.Your new calendar is ready for you to use straight out o fthe box !

This calendar allow the user to select :
1. An Arrival Date
2. Number of Days in a booking
3. Preferred Room
4. Number of guests
(both adults & children)
If there is availability then the user can click through, fill in a form and make a booking enquiry.

Both the owner and client will receive a confirmation email.

This will then auto update the calendar to show these dates as booked for that room.

You can receive deposit and full payments with this calendar, using our Paypal addon script

4.Once you've tried out the standard features, you'll want to change some of the main settings to personnalise things

All calendar admin features are accessed from the admin area, found by clicking the Update Calendarlink near the top of the calendar.

Add & delete time from the availability database

What the calendar does

1.Asks user for preferred dates
2. User is given a total price figure for the dates selected and an amount needed for deposit (if set)
3. User fills in a form with their details
4. Email sent to client together with payment details.
5. Email sent back to calendar owner with details of booking request.
6. Calendar can be auto-updated from link on this email.

Q. During busy periods we don't have time to field emails. Can the calendar help ?

Q. How can we take Credit Card Payments online?

A. You'll be needing our PAYPAL add on script. Using this, the auto-confirmation email sent to the client will contain a PAYPAL link for payment of both deposits and full amounts . Payment buttons will also appear on the calendar more.....

Q. We just want to use the calendar to show availability and not prices. Is this possible?

A. Yes, you can hide calendar prices through the Admin Menu.

Q. I am a webmaster. Can I get a reduction on calendar sales?

Q. I'm creating a site for our holiday home. I'm not happy with installing Perl scripts and I think my web space is on an NT server anyway.

Q. I'm not sure if I want daily or weekly calendars.

A. Daily Calendars show the day by day availability for each day of the year, Weekly calendars shows availability and prices for weekly periods.

Many customers are really not sure about which calendar they need, but from v.4.00 the daily calendar can be set up as a weekly calendar by setting a weekly "Changeover" day together with a minimum booking period of 7 days.
